Digital tools / LMS session for the UiTM Pharmacy first-year students

Entering the university for the first time brings about mixed feelings. Excited, nervous, sad, wonder, curious… So first of all, to the first-year students, congratulations for getting a place in one of the most competitive, top professional programmes in Malaysia! You’re now in the UiTM Faculty of Pharmacy.

Undoubtedly, as we step into this era of post-pandemic, digital tools are an inseparable part of your life as a student in the first year. And later when you work as pharmacists. Knowing how to use digital tools effectively to optimise your productivity is important.

So does getting connected and communicating our needs (assignments, appointments etc) to the faculty members and your peers.

Today’s Activity

To start this session, we are going to do a 15-minute breakout room activity with Quizizz. Answer the Quizizz as an individual. Discussions with group members are highly encouraged.

  1. Please join a breakout room in Webex.
  2. Take 5 minutes to get to know your classmates in the Webex room: Ask them their names, where they are from, their favourite food or hobbies.
  3. Click on the link here or on the pix to join. Enter the 6-digit code:

4. The game will start soon.

Have fun! And we resume the briefing session at the end of the 15 minutes.
