Infographic | Facebook Group vs. Page: What are the differences?

Continuing from my previous post on Facebook for Educators: Classroom Management, I think it would be interesting to compare between a Facebook (FB) group and page. Each share similar features. As an admin (group or page) you can share posts, news, alert, photos, videos, documents quite easily with the people or fans. The distinction is a group is created people sharing common interests, whereas a FB page serves as an official profile page. A page would usually have a formal look to it and works well for organisation, businesses and public figures. A page is always public, there is no option to keep it private or closed as in FB group.
